Essential Information
What is a headspa treatment?
- A headspa treatment is a deep cleansing and relaxing treatment for your scalp and hair. It includes gentle massage, steam, and natural products to remove buildup, improve blood flow, and leave your hair feeling fresh and healthy.
Do you also treat men?
At this time, our treatments are exclusively available for women. We currently do not offer headspa sessions for men, but may consider expanding our services in the future.
Does a headspa treatment really help with hair growth?
- Yes, regular headspa treatments can support healthy hair growth. By deeply cleansing the scalp, improving blood circulation, and removing buildup, it creates the ideal environment for stronger and healthier hair to grow. While it's not a quick fix, consistency can make a real difference over time.
Are your products sustainable or eco-friendly?
- Yes, we offer a botanical headspa treatment where we exclusively use natural and plant-based products. Our focus is on gentle, eco-conscious care for both your hair and the environment.
Is this treatment suitable for all hair types?
- Yes, our headspa treatment is gentle and safe for all hair types — whether your hair is curly, straight, thick, fine, natural, or colored. We tailor the treatment to your scalp and hair needs for the best results.
How often should I get a headspa treatment?
- It depends on your scalp and hair needs, but once every 3 to 4 weeks is ideal for healthy maintenance. If you have scalp issues like dryness, oiliness, or hair loss, we may recommend coming more often at first.
Is the treatment safe during pregnancy?
- Yes, our botanical headspa treatment is generally safe during pregnancy. We use only natural, gentle products that are free from harsh chemicals. However, we always recommend consulting with your healthcare provider before booking any treatment during pregnancy.
psoriasis, eczema & more
Scalp Concerns
Can I book a headspa treatment if I have psoriasis or eczema on my scalp?
- Yes, you can. Our healing botanical scalp therapy headspa is designed to be gentle and soothing, using only natural, non-irritating products. Many clients with sensitive scalp conditions like psoriasis or eczema experience relief and improved scalp health after regular treatments. However, we recommend consulting with your dermatologist before booking if your condition is active or severe.
Do you offer treatments for hair loss or thinning hair?
- Yes. We provide customized headspa treatments that support healthy hair growth by improving blood circulation, unclogging follicles, and reducing scalp inflammation. While we do not offer medical treatment for conditions like alopecia areata, our treatments can complement your existing care and create a healthy foundation for hair regrowth.
What if I have been diagnosed with alopecia?
- If you have alopecia, our treatment may help improve the overall condition of your scalp by promoting relaxation and reducing buildup, which may contribute positively to your care routine. That said, we always advise discussing it with your doctor or trichologist to make sure it aligns with your treatment plan.
Is the treatment safe for inflamed or damaged scalps?
- Absolutely. We tailor each session to your scalp’s condition, using only botanical, gentle ingredients. However, if you have open wounds or severe inflammation, we recommend consulting a doctor first to ensure it’s safe to proceed. For your safety and comfort, we may reschedule the treatment until your scalp has healed.
